Yoga Moves For Kids - Creating Happy and Healthy Lifestyles
Yoga moves for kids are gaining popularity in the hectic lifestyles of today. Lifestyles of both the young and old are infiltrated with continuous stress. Yoga is gaining recognition as a way to promote a healthy and happy lifestyle.
Some of today’s daycare centers, pre-schools, special educations classes and even families are teaching yoga to kids. Children tend to respond positively in the learning of yoga moves for kids.
Coordination, flexibility and self-control are just a few of the benefits kids receive from yoga. It is a great way for kids to release bottled up energy and promote relaxation.

The theme of yoga poses often resemble animals or nature. Kids have a natural tendency to love nature and animals. They are easily captivated by the poses emulating these themes. Yoga for kids provides a fun and stimulating way to channel a child’s robust energy levels into a healthy direction.
Some of the favorite yoga moves for kids include:
* Camel pose resembles the shape of a camel and is accomplished by a kneeling backbend.
* Cat pose is performed on hands and knees with your spine arched upward.
* Tree pose is a balancing posture pose. It is a standing pose that improves your balance.
* Warrior pose is known for strengthening the entire body and improving one’s self-control. This is often identified as one of the most favorite yoga moves for kids.
* Dead corpse pose achieved by lying on the floor in complete relaxation. This pose essentially imitates a corpse, as the name implies.
